Our first responders handle a wide range of emergencies. They range from Fires, Hazardous materials, and Technical Rescues to all types of Emergency Medical situations.

Our Firefighters work a rotating schedule of 24 Hours on duty and 24 hours off duty followed by another 24 hours on duty then 5 days off. This equals 42-hour work weeks for our firefighters.

We Provide 24/7 coverage. Our department has a two-person minimum with some shifts staffed with a third person as a "floater".

Our firefighters are responsible for responding with one truck at a time based on the call for help. Should a medical call come in, the two members will take the ambulance (Rescue) and respond. This would leave the remaining apparatus unmanned until they return.
